This project was rooted in nostalgia with a modern edge. I wanted to create something that honored the camaraderie of being an active creative—someone contributing to what feels like a new Renaissance in motion
I sourced thrifted jerseys as a nod to resourcefulness, a core trait of the creative spirit. Each piece was cut, reassembled, and composed with intention—reflecting the same eye for arrangement and balance that shapes my graphic design and photography work.
The final body of work captures the rebellious nature of the creative soul—the ability to move against the grind while still standing out, still chosen, still favored.
Dream Street
This iteration focuses on material as the foundation of design. Using athletic-grade fabric — not traditionally associated with a beanie — allowed me to explore how performance materials can exist within everyday creative wear. The goal was to create a piece that feels intentional, functional, and supportive of movement .
Athletic textiles are engineered for breathability, flexibility, and durability, qualities that naturally translate to the lifestyle of someone constantly in motion. By incorporating these materials, the piece becomes more than an accessory; it becomes a practical extension of an active creative rhythm.
At its core, this project acknowledges the importance of sustainability , maintaining mental and physical well-being to support long-term creative purpose. The piece is a reminder that longevity in creativity begins with how we care for ourselves while we create.
